Victim
A sigh
That could obliterate the indestructible
A tear
That can crush any emotional-barrier
A life
That seems beyond cruel
A fear
That is far out of control
-
It's impossible almost every night / You're the one who left me traumatized
As my lungs become EVER-so numb / This damage can NEVER be undone
Then my wounded memory floods / You will always be a part of my blood
Gasping for air
Holding my head
Afflicted by despair
I will never be able to forget
Living like this
One can only pretend
There is no such thing as darkness
But I knew I could not prevent the end
A part of me
Has that one wish
There was no tragedy
Ever to begin with
Innocence is held down
By what cannot be seen
Dark images are bound
Thou will forever be a part of me
I want to be set free / From your relentless agony
I'm starting to forget what it's like / To feel a complete soul inside
Though I hope you're doing well / I can't wait to see you here in hell

That can destroy you with a touch
A person
Who didn't deserve what they got
A monster
That you will always remember
A victim
Who can't stay strong forever

Dear grief:
You strangled me
As I snuggled into your hugs
I remember your joy
Toying with my lungs
Dear hate:
I remember the excitement
The bruises you left
Told me to "look at the concept"
As you sneered at me, you never left
Oh I smiled as you burned my flesh
There I go thinking of the past, it's dead
Here I go feeling no peace, just dread
You'll never get to break me
Emotion's ran me deep
They had prevented me from sleep
I looked elsewhere ignoring them
And yet the emotions tried to brush my lips again
I want to tell you, my sweet emotions,
I used to be yours
The past is, the past
And little by little, I don't know you

Have you ever felt free, But still trapped?
Have you ever felt the need, the big need to
Fake a smile, and act like it's okay?

But staying true to yourself, knowing who you are
That is the most important thing, a human can do

A Loveless Day
(That Will Never Fade)
This same old dream that I so loath
A vision of a dull world shrouded in gray
As I walk down a never ending road
The colorlessness in everything never seems to decay
In slow motion I suffer alone
Under the liquid-silver droplets of rain

You had no idea how strong my love was
You played a part in the pain that was dealt and done
You didn't experience the ocean of tears that I had to swim through
You didn't see the countless days I had to endure without being around you
You never felt the sickness within the soul that I had kept
You never knew of the quakes in my heart that you ha
