I'm left dreamless
Every single night...
I remain sleepless
With bloodshot eyes...

You race through my mind
Images that I can't stand
And time after time
You're depleting my strength

A plague of mixed emotions
My tears act like quicksand
I'm torn in every direction
By these encrypted feelings I don't understand

_{I wish my heart would stay hidden}
_{And so far away from you}

_{To confess would be forbidden}
_{And everyday I would barely get through}

_{I've fallen so low / Into the darkness below}
_{By the sorrow of my soul / It's consuming me whole}

_{There is no escape}
_{From whats bottled up inside}

_{My desire for you won't ever fade}
_{And it's something that I'm failing to hide}

I continue to yearn for you so much
Even if you're right here beside me
But I can't let our friendship be crossed
So this dilemma will never let me be free

I've become accustomed to your essence
Believing that it helps me to survive
While I'm fragile without your presence
You unknowingly keep me feeling alive

But only one of us feels this...
Dependent addiction
And only one of is...
Affected by this destruction

Piece by piece
I shall rest in the end
But as you leave
The darkness begins again
