54 (who?)

My abnormalities

Are seen as abominations among humanity

I'm a another stereotype labeled by society

Even though I'm trying my best to just be me

I may not walk the same
But I still have my own path

I have my own footsteps to make
And my own happiness to grasp

You see me how you want to
I am who I am

You have your own narrow point of view
But I am just another human

So many words to be said / So much hate to be meant
Lash out towards the difference / Guilt trip my already-clouded conscience

I am not the one who is typical
I choose to look a different way

You need to look in the mirror
And ask what does a dictator always say?

I don't want to be like anyone else
Divide the bland similarities in between

I need not your help to be myself
Separate the judgments from belief

This hypocrisy

Will finally see

That I'm not a freak

I'm just unique
Make the world see

What they don't believe

My thoughts about being Abnormal are kind of different. If you'd like to read? It's very short. [link]

It was well written.

My question to you would be, are you a low level prodigy or a low level genius?

I'd probably be a low level genius. A normal person with abnormal experiences.

As for the poem you wrote, I presume it's about yourself. The trick about being abnormal is to accept you aren't alike others. The next part is to become a happy person, even though people look down on you. The last part is excelling at your abnormality in order to bring you above and away from the people you dislike.

However, if your abnormality isn't a positive. If your abnormality isn't constructive, then you're what I call a degenerate. Then there's not much hope for you.

I don't like labeling myself as anything really. I couldn't choose either. But if I had to choose, I'd be a hybrid. Giving or putting a labeling on someone also puts those expected limitations on them. I dislike limitations on anything. I'd like to think of the opportunity to grow as a neutral being. Without being considered this or that.

The poem is not entirely about myself. I just took certain elements, whether it being positive or negative, from real life experiences and implanted them into this.
I'm sure we've all had experiences with stereotypical occurrences. That's what I mainly wanted to try and aim for.

A black sheep will always be what it is, from the beginning to the end, because that's how society chooses to view them.

Well everyone has a label. If you dislike labels you should stop talking or writing. Wouldn't wanna refer to egg's as food, or water as liquid.

If you put a constricting label onto a person, and demand they act on that label, you might be telling the truth. Nobody did that though.

I think if you apply the different personality archetypes I wrote, you'll find that there is not a human being in the world who does not fit into one of them. In addition, nobody fits into two.

You're either abnormal as decided by birth, or you experience things to make you abnormal. And of those two, you're either negatively effected or positively effected.

So those three archetypes are vague enough to describe the entire world.

I mostly meant labels on people, not food or liquid. No where did I said I disliked labels as entirely. Just the labels that are put on people, like as in Goth, or Hipster, or Prep. I would add more of the harsher labels but I want to keep this discussion as clean as possible.

'You're either abnormal as decided by birth, or you experience things to make you abnormal. And of those two, you're either negatively effected or positively effected.'

You could also experience both of the negatives and positives. It's not like it will forever be one or the other. There is always a chance to experience more than one through out life. Even if one comes before the other, there is always that chance.

It's in my own opinion though, and that is your own opinion.

I understand where you're coming from, I really do.

Silly things about opinions is that one opinion is in most cases more correct than others.

Actually if you think you can be both you dont understand the descriptions I gave enough.
You can be born abnormally, with lets say a mental illness or outrageous beauty. Then you are a prodigy.
You can also be born normally but experience abnormal things to turn you abnormal. Then you are a genius.
You can be a Prodigy and experience things that'd turn others abnormal, but it doesnt change that you're a prodigy, since you were abnormal from the start. There's no such thing as a Genius Prodigy.

As for a degenerate. You can be born abnormally, but in a negative fashion. While a degenerate can either be born normally and experience things to turn them degenerate, or be born abnormally and have it predecided that they are degenerate, they are degenerate nonetheless, therefore that description sticks onto them no matter what.

Unless they become a genius or a prodigy. Then they aren't a degenerate at all.
